Catfish Party Sliders – with Swiss, Sautéed Onions and Remoulade Sauce
The flavors of this slider work well together – the bite of the remoulade sauce, sweet and tart of the tomatoes and Swiss cheese and smokey goodness of the sautéed onions compliments the hot crunch of the savory catfish – you’ll soon make these for every party.
These sliders are perfect for a party — IF you make sure and do the First Things First before the party, then assemble the sliders as close to serving as possible.
These can easily be made with take-out fish. And, if you can get catfish (try to, it is the best), any fried fish will work. Or, if you like, use quality boxed frozen fish. We did that once in a pinch and it made a pretty decent sandwich.
Having said that —
You really should fry the fish fillets, at home, right before you assemble the sandwiches and serve your guests. Sure it is a little more work, but going that extra mile really is the only way to get the very best possible, Memorable and Talked-About Party Sliders.
